I so agree with you. What about the high sugar content in breastmilk? It stimulated the pleasure centers in the baby's brain and aids in bonding too. And the action of the jaw when a baby breastfeeds is very different from sucking a bottle. I breastfed all of my biological children. My foster babies got bottles. It was MUCH MORE EXHAUSTING to feed a bottle baby in the middle of the night! I think breastfeeding is so convenient. I can leave the house with just diapers and wipes. Not so for a formula baby. I need bottles, water, formula and a gagillion burp rags!
